Xperia X1 and Android join forces!
Tired of waiting for the Xperia X10 like me to see Android working with Sony Ericsson? Well leave it to XDA-Developers to get the slice of the action! Last week marked the successful port of Android 2.1 (1.6 if you want) to the Xperia X1. No bluetooth, camera, or GPS but WiFI, GSM, resistive touchscreen, and all the other bells and whistles should be functioning. Want a slice of this? Check out the link below! Today my phone (Tmobile G1) buzzed all of sudden indicating an update was available. My heart started to beat fast hopping that it might be the long waited 2.1 update.
