After the recent Koobface attacks on Facebook, I’ve noticed an increase in spam emails which could contain the virus (as pictured above). The popular URL shortening service, Bit.ly, offers users a quick an simple way to shorten links. The problem? Some evil users use Bit.ly as a link-coverup for malicious sites and viruses. Luckily, Bit.ly has released a Mozilla Firefox plug-in which lets you view where the link will take you.
